      Grounds Department
      I am looking for a few part time or full time positions for the 2024 season.  I have been the golf course superintendent at The Club for 28 years.  I hire successful people and those people need a flexible schedule in life which you will get from me from the beginning.  I build Teams and treat everyone like I want to be treated.  We have state of the art equipment and it is very well taken care of for you to operate and do your job well.  Give me a call at 231-645-2318 to discuss my opportunites for the 2024 season soon since I have 14 of 17 people returning this year.
      1. I am looking for a person who can do the morning clean up around the clubhouse, poolhouse, tennis courts, the main entrance drive and other small areas.  Edging parking lot islands, curbs and cart paths.  Pulling weeds, edging landscape beds, adding mulch and trimming some landscaping beds as well as working on our golf course beds.  With this job you can set your own hours and they can change weekly, 6:00 am to 11:00 or fewer hours some days as needed.  Some days can be full days, 6:00-2:30.  Lunch is provided for free, free golf and cart with a friend weekly.  Work outside every morning then head to your next job, the beach, pick up your kids, head back home and still enjoy your summer season to enjoy.  $16.00 and up pending your experieince, passion and attititude.
      2. I have two positions for golf course maintenance work, including the driving range tee morning prep, mowing our formal areas, fly mowing, edging bunkers, trimming sprinkler heads, hauling brush and logs as well as dozens of more outside jobs.  Part time or full, each starts at 6:00 am.  $14.00 and up pending on your experience, passion and attititude.
