Vision 2020 Update

The Vision 2020 projects include golf course renovations, a pool complex and expansion of the clubhouse, please click on the boxes below to get current updates on each project.

Welcome to Spring 2019! As a very cold and snowy winter comes to an end, Vision 2020 project continues to progress thanks to our contractors who have endured fierce weather and are keeping the ball rolling with the construction on the lap pool being completed and the family activities and children's pool in the process.  The roof is on the pool house, the foundation for the clubhouse expansion is in place, and we are looking forward to finalizing plans for the new 1st Tee and other course improvements.  Beginning on March 4th, work on the 19th Hole began; this included demolition of the wall between the 19th Hole and Pro Shop.

We will keep you updated with information displayed in the clubhouse, and on the website in the "Vision 2020" section, which will include a description of each of the projects, and a blog which will be updated regularly throughout construction.

  • Renovations “Need To Know”

    • 8th Green Expansion

We will be expanding the putting surface on the old 8th green.  We started by removing the sprinkler heads and stripped the sod off of the banks.  Work will continue starting on Monday October 8th when we start removing the topsoil and shelling out the expanded green sections.  New irrigation pipes will be installed as well as re-purposing the sprinkler heads that were removed.  Once the expansion is ready we'll be harvesting the sod from the 9th green and placing it on the expanded sections of the green.  Both bunkers will be enlarged to match the larger green.  We will be using a temporary green on the approach during construction.

      The New 9th Green

      1st Tee Renovation

Once the east side clubhouse expansion starts we'll have a better idea of the future tee space to the south. One of the options being discussed is having our current putting green and the future first tee all be a putting green. Then the blue and white markers could be on the current white tee or on the old putting green creating better angles and shots to the first fairway.

      2nd Tee Renovation

The plans are to turn the old 2nd hole into a par 4.  This would help us keep the current par at 71 since the new 9th green will be a 175 yard par 3.  The back tee on the new par 4 would be 315 yards.
  • Clubhouse Renovation
    • Grand Patio

Relax and unwind on the new Grand Patio! Once opened in 2019 you'll be able to enjoy 4,000 square feet of comfortable dining overlooking the golf course sitting in our lounge style seating.

      19th Hole

During the club shutdown which begins on March 3rd and runs through March 20th, the 19th Hole renovation begins.

      Golf Shop

The new pro shop will sit just east of its current location and on the old first tee.  It will have all of the same great clothing, golf clubs and golf balls available as it does today.  The two new simulators for reference will be constructed in the current pro shops location.

      Fitness Center

Our new fitness center expansion will increase to 1,750 square feet. The unique design features include a beautiful flagstone brick wall and new shock absorbing rubber flooring.  Upgrades include:

      ~ Recumbent and upright bikes
      ~ Airdyne style attack bike
~ Treadmills and elliptical's including touch screen monitors
~ Strength equipment with larger space
~ New equipment includes double Olympic half racks joined together for Olympic barbell movement based exercise programming.
~Another feature piece of equipment is the Precor Queenax. This is a freestanding functional training structure much like monkey bars
that multiple implements mount to for body-weight and resisted exercises

All of these exciting improvements will provide the necessary space and equipment to offer more group personal training and sport specific programming.
